  1. ARB Compressor not switching on

I've not had an ARB in quite some time but if I remember, at some point in that wiring, there is a relay -- swap that out?
  2. 30K mile JT oil analysis

Good input folks. I just really like the fact that something like this is available for the consumer and is SUPER inexpensive! I've got the Mopar 8/125K extended warranty or service agreement or whatever we're calling it now but I just wanted a baseline to get trends. Also, trying to get my...
  3. 30K mile JT oil analysis

Just wanted to post my Blackstone oil analysis results. I don't use them for every oil change and haven't with my JT yet, but did on my JK as it got higher in the mileage. There's a ton of discussion on "When do I change my oil?" and I've chimed in a few times. Heck, on my '14 JKU, I remember...
  4. Idiot Gladiator Owner Road Rage Incident

I will caveat my previous post to say YES...they are polite. I guess it's what they're raised in -- controlled chaos. 4 lines should mean 4 lanes but there it's like 6 or 7! The problem comes when we get folks who try to do that here in Miami. :| But Miami is a cesspool of me me me anyway...
  5. Idiot Gladiator Owner Road Rage Incident

Bogota was always terrifying! Well, any South or Central American country -- which is why South Florida is a hellscape. People bring their old habits here. On another note -- someone mentioned road-rage and keyboard warriors doing so because the layer of "security" between the turd. I'm a...
  6. Going 40s... New concerns...

Slightly different setup -- apples and oranges, but a fellow Floridian who did our only decent park (Hard Rock) on my old JKU. The clear difference was I was on a D30 BUT I had it trussed and gussetted, stock axle shafts, ARB locker up front, 37's. I blew up the axle shaft playing up there and...
  7. Progressive Insurance doubled in Orlando

Indeed. My homeowners (Progressive) went up $1000/year. Scared of what my auto policy will look like. FWIW, I had USAA for 21 years. 2 cars for wife and I at about $280/month...She has acciedents from ~18 years ago. Last year my daughter got her license and we got her a 2001 Jetta and they...
  8. Trails in Broward County? South Florida

So it's less trail oriented and more obstacles. I don't know if disco swaybar is NEEDED, though I always did as well as air down. For what it's worth, I took my old ZR2 out there and well -- IFS so no disconnecting and things were fine.
  9. Trails in Broward County? South Florida

Yeah. Used to take my JKU there a lot as it was more built. I took the JT out once to play. It's a nice day -- we loaded up the kayaks too and paddled around the lake there after I got finished being goofy. If you look on the site, should have a calendar with upcoming events.
  10. Trails in Broward County? South Florida

If you go to the humps in Miami, don't go alone. It can get really muddy and need a recovery buddy. Why not just shoot out to Lazy Springs?
  11. 2024 Ranger & 405hp Ranger Raptor ? Revealed! Raptor Priced at Just $56,960

It doesn't matter what Jeep's next move is. If a Raptor starts at $56k, that's a base Mojave. So Jeep says, "We'll toss a 392 in a JT"...won't sell at their absurd pricing.
  12. Well this ruined my day

Yes...Been a problem for years when a young tech torques the filter cap and cracks the housing. As shown in the thread, it's the entire unit so it is a PITA if it cracks. EDIT: on 3.6 for years...3.0, new to me but makes sense if it's plastic.
  13. Dashcam mirror - are they any good?

So I've got a NextBase W322 I think it's called. It's about a year old, better features on the new models but one on my Glady and one on my daughters car. Unobtrusive little cam I wired to ignition vice a 12v plug and it's been extremely helpful. I've been able to pull video of someone who...
  14. Those with Mopar rollup cover, do you like it?

Hmmm...Interesting. We'll see what happens. Everythining else seems solid and like @steveorama mentioned, I noticed some water after the rains this weekend though I also installed in during a break in weather so I'll poke at it again soon and see where it might be getting in. Not worried...
  15. Those with Mopar rollup cover, do you like it?

Well, scored a Mopar rollup on offerup for $200 and sold my Tyger trifold for $100 the same day. So looks like I'm rocking and rolling. Digging it so far but it looks like one of the straps is fraying...the ones going front to back...I don't particularly know what they do and I didn't dork...
  16. Sitting in 2 feet of water for days

Ooohhh. If you're west of 95, you MIGHT be good but others have solid advice to check diff fluid. Wish I was heading north or I'd check -- work in Doral. Good luck and stay safe.
  17. Sitting in 2 feet of water for days

Where is it sitting? At the airport? Biggest areas hit is Fort Laud around broward blvd and las olas. I'm in Pines and we're good. Doubt the 26" is going to sit long as they're trying to get water pushed out.
  18. Those with Mopar rollup cover, do you like it?

And THAT is one of the many benies I'm looking at as well -- removing it for the truck tent! I've only test fit the tent but it's the only tent I have now and, well, since it's getting hotter, might need to wait til fall to really try it out. Thanks all for the input. And now we wait for...
  19. I've become disillusioned with my Jeep

Just an anecdotal story about my experience, though not with the JT. On my JK, I ran 37s with a Rock Krawler 3.5" lift and beefed up front end parts -- That's worthy because the kicker is -- I ran NO steering stabilizer. The Synergy TR, DL, and TB were all stout enough that I didn't need it...
  20. Those with Mopar rollup cover, do you like it?

Thanks all -- yeah, the sun here in FL is a killer. Definitely looking on Marketplace, Offerup and the like because spending that coin just for a tonneau isn't on my priority list but I definitely need something for the activities mentioned. @bleda2002 -- Yup...my concern as well. Sagging...
