Those of you using Jscan to fix speedometer calibration, what tire size did you program to correct speed? I am using 33.75 and I still seem to be 1mph off. Also 8th gear on the highway downshifts to 7th alot. It feels like it drives more sluggish than when it was uncorrected for the stock sport...
I just put rubicon shocks and springs on my sport s with no spacer lift and added 35x10.5x17 kenda klever rt's. No rubbing so far but I havnt flexed it.
The doors do have lifting handles. They are underneath the pull handles you use to shut your door from the inside of the vehicle.
I dont think the JL needs much in the way of improvements to keep the bronco at bay but we will see. I've never been a fan of chrysler but they did an awesome job on...
Ford did an awesome job on the bronco and if it wasn't for the wrangler gaining in popularity, it may never have been built. Maybe Toyota brings back the FJ that everyone wants?
Iam excited to see how the bronco does after release and how FCA responds to a more competitive market.
Iam sensing through my third eye that you are wanting to get at least $75 for it, but because I like you Iam willing to give you $100. So you're actually getting more than what your asking for.
I forgot to add another upgrade I enjoy comparing the JT to the JK and that is the ease of pulling down the seat belt. It's like it's on glass bearing compared to my JK.
I like the look of those as well but what is the width of the spare steel wheel? Iam guessing its 7 or 8 inches max. That's getting kind of narrow for a 12.5" wide tire.
I had D window 17x9's from summit racing that were dirt cheap but they rusted after a couple of years. One of them had...
I've had mine for a couple of weeks. No issues. I will say that the exhaust note/engine sound is totally different than my JK. The JT sounds slightly similar to a diesel in my opinion. Also it makes a bunch of little noises which Iam attributing to the 8 speed. This is my first automatic in a...
Yes I remember reading your post about the tape in a rock slider thread. It was that thread that lead me to the rockhard steps. I've actually got a big roll of that tape so it may come in handy.
They are rock solid. It attaches on 8 pinch seam holes, 4 underside threaded tub holes and 3 body mount flanges on the frame. The steel tubes and flanges are thick and heavy. I used two wrangler scissor jacks to hoist them up to the mounting points. I think they are around 60 pounds a piece.
Iam not going to be hauling anything heavy and plan to get some rubicon shock and spring take-offs. Iam assuming the rubi shocks and springs will stiffen it up and give an inch or so of lift?
I forgot to add, I did put on some rockhard4x4 step rails/sliders and they are impressive. Made in the the USA and have 15 attachment points. Overly heavy duty is how I would describe them.
Yes, fit and finish are definitely better than the JK. I wish they had left the windshield angle alone but it doesnt really bother me. Uconnect stereo and instrument display are nicely done as well.
Iam 7 days into ownership of the 2020 gladiator, coming from a 2 door jk. It's a stingray sport S with hardtop and painted fenders. They absolutely nailed the interior and electronics. The parking break FINALLY seems capable even though this model has the 8 speed. Room and comfort seem about the...
