the cable on the pictures plug says its a 20a cable so I was hoping it would be fine. But like I said..i know just enough to be dangerous (so really very little when it comes to electrical)
i have the plugs from the oem12v plug still behind the dash. They make a cable for adding CB radio and...
After installing the mopar break controller i no longer have a 12v plug.
Knowing JUST enough to be dangerous when it comes to electronics i want to get some knowledgeable thoughts on this one.
im thinking I can use one of the 40a aux lines with my aux switches to wire in another plug using...
I’ve always been told between five and six years for trailer tires. Or as soon as they show signs of wear or rot, like minor cracking in between the treads or on the walls, they need to be replaced.
That or some crazy accounting where they’re running things like Amazon. Intentionally losing money on selling some things to write off the losses and offset massive profits elsewhere.
Looks level now..ide leave it be and see how it settles out after a couple days. I’ve noticed that the Jt looks a little taller after letting the springs expand while its on the lift at a shop. And they settle out after a day or two
2020 JT Max Tow
Keystone Bullet 250BHS
6000lbs - 6250lbs (as i pull it)
715lbs tongue weight
Equilizer 4 point WDH
At max with the family + dogs + tongue im around 1450lbs of the 1550lbs cargo capacity for my JT.
so needless to say, I exist at all times while camping near the Max limits...
IMO anything over 1in in the front and you would want at minimum the MPP LCAs or the geo brackets. An adjustable track bar is personal preference until 2-3in. At that point reentering the axles is needed.
i did the track bar w/2in spacers because im neurotic and the adjustment to recenter was...
this is 100% phenomena device.
if I could go back in time, I would’ve left it completely stock
If you intend it really tow and tow often and heavy, the rake is absolutely necessary. Any lift (especially spring lifts) and larger tires were negatively impact your tow capacity.
I suppose I can see it as a CYA thing for a shop. But really, they’re just taking money out of our pockets every time they do the “alignment “.
Heck ..if you have an adjustable track bar, you can even recenter your own axles in a couple of minutes.
Everyone keeps adding “alignment”
The only alignment that is done on the gladiators is resetting the toe and centering the steering wheel. Unless they’re changing your arms out theyre not messing with adjusting your caster. And even if they are, I somehow doubt most of the shops are actually...
yes, it would. And if me and this fella were sitting inside of the bed it’s self our weight wouldn’t be any real impact on the cargo carrying capacity of my JT.
But we were sitting on the tailgate itself so the majority of the weight would be at the top of the “triangle”. The triangle being the...
funny you say this I had this exact scenario very recently. I was at my son’s baseball practice and me and another dad were sitting on my tailgate. I’m 240 pounds and the other guy has a big ol’ belly so I’m sure he’s probably around the same weight if not a little heavier. While we were just...
1.5in up front with either nothing or the 3/4in daystar rear.
that was my original lift when I got the gladiator and honestly was fantastic looking. I had just a little bit of break with it and it didn’t require any additional steering components to correct geometry.
if you’re only looking to...
