Harrumph....screwed that quote up to a farethewell….my point was my wife certainly disagrees with endless options being good, particularly when she sees the CC bill.....!
Thanks for the link to Clayton's kit, just placed my order. I have a TS waiting to be installed, but wasn't quite clear on how to relocate. This looks to be perfect.
Thanks....I'm fine with the way it has come out so far....just want to get the rear of the skid plate bolted up dead nuts this weekend, assuming the dreaded coronavirus doesn't get me between now and then....:fingerscrossed: When I do so, I'll try to get some better shots, and measure up the...
Dredging up an old thread to report that it is certainly possible to fit a Curt 31086 front mount hitch receiver on to a JTR. It is not simple, but not overly difficult either. The plates for the rear skid plate mounting hardware need to be removed, as they consume real estate that the body of...
I assume the JT intake is identical to the JL? I wonder how the midpipe in the video, combined with a K&N and the stock box would work? Not that I would expect any significant performance from it, but I wouldn't mind getting rid of some of the interesting sound deadening "features" on the OE...
I was able to keep mine in gear by pulling back on the shifter, but as soon as I let go it would pop out. I don't know your dealership situation, but as I said my dealer did an excellent job on my repair. Also - no need to google @JeepCares - they seem to monitor this forum closely. I will...
At 197 miles on the clock, my manual tranny started popping out of 4th gear, despite a very positive shift into gear. It was very repeatable - it simply would not hold the gear, all others were fine. My dealer was really good about it - worked with FCA and they quickly authorized a replacement...
Ford bought back my 2017 F150 for consistent timing chain noise issues that they could not fix.....paid me MSRP for it after I put 55k miles on it (long commute). I moved into a 2018 Raptor, which had no issues. Great power, but I just did not feel the love for it. I sold it, and used the...
I've tried the stubby antenna on previous vehicles, and I have not had good results. They work OK in metro areas, but in Maine...and in particular northern Maine, reception on am/fm is not good. If someone has found a stubby with the same reception performance as stock, I'd love to hear about it.
Unless, of course, you want to row your own gears......not many options left in trucks as far as manual transmissions.
I went with the JT over Tacoma based primarily on seating position. I found the Tacoma to be horrible in this department. The fact that I can take the roof off the JT also...
