Yeah, when I was looking for a bumper, I was really torn between winch location and ground clearance. I opted for ground clearance because I hated the look of the Mojave skid plate. It definitely leaves the steering components exposed though.

I really like how low the winch sits in the bumper.

I'm watching this thread. My 2024 with 12k miles has a slight burning smell sometimes, but it smells more like hot plastic. Maybe the grease from my front driveshaft boot is burning off? I just got rid of a stinkbug infestation under my bed mat.

My 37x13.5 on true beadlock is under the bed. I do 5-tire rotations. I'm not sure why you wouldn't put it in the stock location.

I'm on 37s. Size shouldn't matter. (At least in this situation.)
