Still running the same setup. Just passed 12k miles. My front driveshaft boot is throwing grease, so my next purchase will be the front driveshaft. Everything still rides great.
Yeah, when I was looking for a bumper, I was really torn between winch location and ground clearance. I opted for ground clearance because I hated the look of the Mojave skid plate. It definitely leaves the steering components exposed though.
I'm watching this thread. My 2024 with 12k miles has a slight burning smell sometimes, but it smells more like hot plastic. Maybe the grease from my front driveshaft boot is burning off? I just got rid of a stinkbug infestation under my bed mat.
After reading your post, I went out and crawled under my Jeep. I've had a 3.5" lift on for 12k miles. I'm not really sure what I'm looking at. The end of the driveshaft that goes into the front differential doesn't have a boot. It's just a u-joint that looks fine. The end that goes into the...
Last week I took my truck to the carwash to get some of the salt rinsed off. On the way home, the front left sensor died. I drove it for a week, and nothing changed. I moved the tire to the rear, and the problem moved to the rear. Since I have beadlocks, and I mounted my own tires, I decided to...
Thanks. Rock Hard 4x4 steps. Smittybilt Stryker bumper. Fender flares are stock with Amazon extensions. Mine is High Velocity. That is my Jeep photoshopped a different color.
Obviously, I don't work for them, but I feel like $649 would be an acceptable price. At least that's the price I would be willing to pay for the kit. I'd already have one if they were $649.
I daily drive my JT, but I only average about 500 miles a month (6000 miles a year). I did that my battery doesn't get charged like it should, so about once a month, I hook up a slow charger to top it off.
That's funny. I was just on the Genesis Offroad website. I added the $799 dual battery kit and two group 25 batteries to my cart, and it was about $1600. I started looking for discounts. I'm sure I could buy batteries cheaper locally, but that $799 for a steel tray and battery isolator just...
Finally got around to opening up some of my Christmas presents. Installed my DV8 door and seat back pockets. I installed my Tacmolle overhead molle panel. I installed a GMRS antenna, and tomorrow I will install the radio.
Nice. I guess I should have said that I hate to insure more than one car per driver. For years I had a truck and a car insured for me, and it always made me mad that there was not a multi-car discount for drivers who had more than one car. I couldn't drive more than one at a time. Obviously...
