No
no that’s what I don’t understand. They have always treated me well and I had to have other service done. That’s why I had them do it. Just don’t know why programming the rear leds affected the left front halogen turn signal.
On the way to the dealer today everything was working fine even without flashing the BCM. Picked it up after the dealer flash and now says FRONT left blinker out (with hyper flash). If I only swapped out the tail lights for leds and the dealer flashed the computer, how am I getting FRONT left...
A little after awhile at high speed. It beats the alternative thought having the whole jeep soaked. They’re also great on cold days/nights. Again, being I run doorless a lot, they are a necessary evil. Just try to find them on sale or preowned.
The soft doors will keep you dry. What happens is the leak through the gaps. Usually a quick passing shower is a non event. A prolonged heavy rain event, you may need to pull the plugs in the floor. That’s why I’ll throw a cover over them.
Quick question, swapping oem halogen tail lights for led. I’m going to install them at home and bring to the dealer to flash. Is there anyway they can get damaged using them before flashed?
Thanks
I run doorless almost all summer. The best think about these is you can easily toss them in the bed. I had mopar full and half doors on my JK. The mopar halves were still loud, not like the bestop soft doors though.
Yup. Very poor engineering. The rear door check straps are nowhere near close to fitting. Bestop tj mirror footprint covers velcro. Found the older style tj mirror fit better. Other than the oem produced parts, bestop offfers poorly engineered products at a pretty steep price. The soft doors...
Does the metal check strap attached to the door retract far enough in that it won’t damage the paint where it attaches on the jeep when opening and closing?
