I have the automatic and can say it tows well. Just be aware you have less towing capabilities with the manual. Sounds like you are already aware of that though.

I don't mind it in conditions other than rush hour traffic. During rush hour traffic it irritates me. It shuts off right as soon as the car in front of me moves and makes me the guy holding up traffic. :facepalm: I do notice about a 1-2 mpg difference with it on vs off.

Actually not very far from the border. Columbia is about 1.5-2 hours away. Haven't been to the lake in awhile. I travel down south to Springfield & Branson area a lot as well.
That's awesome. I haven't had anyone try talking to me going down the road yet but have noticed some hard looks. I'm with you, I love this truck and have been wanting something like this for years. Glad they finally made it.
The shirt is nice and comfortable for sure.
I don't mind color matched but it's not worth paying extra for in my opinion. I like the mix of the gloss and flat black better anyways so it works out.

I traded my green JKU in. It was a tough decision but I'm glad I decided on the truck. I'm finding there's quite a few Gladiator owners in KC. Not sure how many are here on the forum though.
