As the title says, would I of been able to of carried all this in a Gladiator
We have both, 2019 Rebel and a 20 LE and I'd say you could haul all of that in the Gladdy, you'd just be making more than one trip! Love both vehicles, both bada$$, both serve specific functions for us. I won't tow with the Gladdy unless I need to (camper), the Rebel does that well for us. The rear seating area is also probably twice the size of the Gladiator, but if you're cool with that, go for it!

The Gladiator would haul all of this if they made another bed configuration like with Jeep J6! Sure wish they would build the J6!.

Traded my Ram and haven't looked back. I still do everything I was doing in the Ram but in a Midsize. And add in the no doors and no roof option, I considered the Gladiator a win! My Ram only had the 5'7" bed so I lost 7". Umm... Ok! Hahaha! I even used the same winch from the Ram on the Gladiator. Functional and fun! I'm winning!

I almost got the Rebel as well, but I wanted a straight axle and a transfer case shifter and not the knob on the dash to turn, I had the 2004 Durango before the JT and have been a Dodge guy since the beginning. but this time I wanted a 4x4 that could be used as a truck in a pinch, not the other way around. I do like the air shocks on the Rebel , as thats the only way a Rebel would have fit in my garage, and garage parking was a must. as my JT is a weekend toy and not an everyday driver. Just got the lift installed Saturday and almost broke my windshield latches off the folded down top backing into the garage today, lesson learned, close the top up b4 backing into the garage. You did good choosing the Rebel over the Raptor (in my opinion) Drive it like you stole it, and post the photos.

It kind of has to be compared to a truck, it's good to see what the competition is. I mean, it's a truck. Only thing is you need to compare it to apples, not oranges. Compare with midsizes.

The ride DID get better, bc its a truck.

Now I need to double check with the boss if I need to tow still, since if I don't, then here comes the manual!

I have the automatic and can say it tows well. Just be aware you have less towing capabilities with the manual. Sounds like you are already aware of that though.

I understand what you're saying. Most of the trucks people seem to be mentioning are full sized. Not a fair comparison at all in my opinion. Two different sized trucks for two different purposes. If you're comparing the Gladiator with a Ram, F150 etc... then you'll be very disappointed with the capabilities of the Gladiator. The Tacoma & Colorado, these are the trucks that it needs to be compared with. I respectfully disagree that it's just a Jeep with a bed. To me, it's a mid sized truck that just has some of the Wrangler features that people love.

My take is the JT is attracting full sized truck buyers maybe more than mid sized. Certainly the Jeep brand lovers are on board. I'm planning on buying a JT, but I have no interest in other mid sized trucks, and little interest in full sized. I want something fun that can tow 5K without much trouble.

Rides better because of longer wheel base and it’s still solid axle so it won’t be as soft as a IFS midsize, so to me it’s a Jeep with a bed my expectations are just that yeah I can tow more with an auto but the manual guys are stuck with something barely better than a JKU so what’s the point for them?
For me gladiator made my life easier for the outdoors. It’s like comparing the break over angle of it to a JL and complaining, at the end of the day if your been around keeps you know what your getting into with a gladiator.

I'll do you one better. A double burner grill AND 6 patio chairs. Bring the family AND the cook out with you.

More chairs than passengers fit in JT. Does the sixth person have to be stapped down too?
