Clearly you've never driven in PA, NJ, NY and points north. Bad driving is a hallmark of Northeastern drivers.

NY and NJ drivers are so bad I won't EVER consider a used car that spent time in either state. Between the shitty drivers and the worse roads it wreaks havoc on a car. PA isn't much better. And Massachusetts drivers earn the title Massholes without even trying. I was just there in October and they were in rare form to say the least. The 45 minute drive from Logan to Salem was... harrowing. And I grew up driving the DC and Baltimore Beltways.
Just to pile on NE drivers and lack of driving etiquette.....I lived in NJ for the first 53 years of my life about 60 miles South of NYC and near the beach in what was a farming community. I daily commuted 55 miles each way to Northern NJ via the Garden State Parkway for 27 years. I have seen more carnage, road rage, and downright stupidity during that time than one might believe. My '88 YJ made it through 4 years (88-92) of those commuter wars and the YJ was only rear ended twice with very minor damage. I still have that YJ!

I moved to South Central Virginia 15 years ago where there is just no traffic. I like to refer to this area as the land that time forgot. Folks would yield to other drivers, almost to a fault, as it is unexpected (to me). While living here, I commuted to a job that was 25 miles away and it was like a Sunday drive everyday. The poor attitude of NE drivers is slowly creeping into this area and it is noticeable. A few months ago I had the unfortunate experience of having to drive to Northern VA just outside of DC. I thought I was having an LSD fashback. What a cluster **** the traffic is in that area!

I feel for you.
You should replace the rear bumper with a section of railroad track.

I'd think some 9lb I beam or channel would work well but I like your style.

Memphis is a pit of a hole... I'd say its worse than Atlanta...
Well that's saying a lot. I've never been to Memphis, but I grew up in Atlanta and have vowed to never go back there based on the aggressive and terrible drivers.

Memphis has the worst drivers in nation. Shootings from cars happen daily. I moved from Memphis after 38 years to North Mississippi 30 years ago, the crime is slowly headed our way. Right now most of the wrecks being caused by young immigrants with no insurance and no dl. I just expect this to happen more and more all over the country. Just tacked onto my gladiators insurance policy year over year, yours too.
Interesting to know those
North Dakota?

Hmm. I'd say the population has just about doubled here in Charleston, SC in the past 6-15 years from NY, NJ, OH, IL, etc... Especially the last 3 years. We've met some good folks that have moved from those places, but the driving conditions have changed quite a bit.... There is are multiple accidents everyday that block traffic. Many traffic fatalities. My 25 minute commute is now nearly one hour if I can get thru before the inevitable wreck.

Ditto here in Charleston, SC. I have the Rubicon with the steel bumpers. Got rear-ended last year sitting still in traffic. Destroyed the grill of the Lexus SUV that hit me and the bumper of the at fault driver in the truck that hit him. My steel bumper held up, but the tailgate had minor dents as well as scrapes on the bumper. For insurance purposes over $6,000 in depreciated value lost which I am still pursuing with the insurance company. Be sure to file a diminished value claim! I'm so afraid now driving in traffic with all the bad drivers that they'll hit my beautiful Jeep again.

A take on the old joke....how do you get thirty New Yorkers in your Gladiator? You tell them it's going to Texas. I guess you could adapt that for Nashville.

Just think what it will be like when this generation retires from not actually working…..
They won't be able to retire. Look at all the 75-80 year olds that are working now.
