You realize, right, that the hybrid Wrangler was only getting about 40 miles? With the extra weight on the Gladiator, you might have milked out 20 extra miles out of it on battery. That's a sick joke.
It is more than amusing that the EV gaga-ness has finally crashed and burned. Big time. It took a while for it to happen, but it finally has, and I must say it's more than satisfying. I felt like one of the only people here on this forum that had the opinion that Stellantis was going way...
I gotta tell you, the K03's are an even quieter ride than the Falkens I had on the truck before. It's a smooth, quiet ride, and I'm really impressed with the K03's.
Yes, I live in the city, and there are plenty of stops and starts, turning, that kind of thing, I do put highway miles on it but not nearly as much as city driving.
I live in Dallas, but the roads are terrible here too.
Wouldn't the need for an alignment show up in the tires wearing unevenly? I didn't have that problem, they were worn through shoulder to shoulder.
Okay, so the original tires were not Falkens, I have a Sport and they were the Dueller tires, 245's. When I bought the Falkens, I went up to the 285/70/R17 tires, on the same stock rims. The new K03s are also 285/70/R17 on the stock rims.
The tread was a big different on a couple of the...
At about 24,000 miles, my factory tires were in pretty bad shape, and i bought some Falken Wildpeaks at Discount Tire. For whatever reason, I'm at 52,000 miles now, and the Wildpeaks wouldn't have passed inspection. I only got about 26,000 miles out of them. Because of how short the life...
I've seen some other posts here, and I'm wondering if anybody has tried painting their wiper cowl. It's looking really faded, like it's much older than the truck itself, and I can't see why taking it off and spray painting it a dark grey or a matte black wouldn't work in keeping it looking...
That's not just after you shut the door, is it? If I'm on level ground, and I open the door, it drips down into the door frame and on my pants and runs down the window like you're showing.
I have a 2020 and I've never had a door leaking while it's shut.
Not sure why it's brave, it just seems insane to me to go all gaga about a hybrid Gladiator that buys you maybe 40 miles. Just to be able to say to everybody, hey, I have hybrid.
Sounds like the resistor is no longer working. That's what happens on the turn signals when the bulb gets too hot and the resistor overheats, or something like that.
My 2020 Sport-S has never had steering pull, or any issues at all. I've not lifted mine though, or messed around with the suspension at all besides putting a 1.5 inch leveling kit on the front.
