Yes. The 3.45s from the JL would be a much better fit with the EcoDiesel. The power band is very narrow and peak torque is at 1,600ish RPM. Need to keep the tach needle low on the dial.

Should work great. Just make sure you mount it so that when you turn sharp it won't hit the cab. The fiberglass top won't like it. :)

All I have left now is: Overland bumper, air dam, and grille trim. PCM that has the GDE tune, as well as the handheld device for the trans tune. EcoDiesel engine cover and foam sound deadening blocks. factory bag for the Freedom Panels. Factory EcoDiesel exhaust.

I'm not sure what he means by "cams" but I bought a PCM online for $200 and had it programmed to my truck. GDE technician literally copied my existing PCM and pasted to the new one. Obviously they've got the WiTech software, so they can do things like that. Any shop with WiTech can do it...

Concerned about the trans? Do you have the manual? If so I'd be concerned too. Just make sure not to lug it at all, and stay in lower gears. If you have the auto no worries...it's a world class trans.
