Looking at your signature "Rairdon's suck", I tend to agree. I live in B'ham for 5 years and bought two Jeeps from them. Was not super impressed by their service department. Not sure if I commented on this before. Beautiful place to live but does it rain!!!!
Having had experience with flat space saver subs and producing underwhelming bass, I decided to do a 6" inch bazooka under the rear seat. While it does not produce earth shattering bass is blows away the flat under sub I had.
I'm considering trading my JTW 3.6 for Rubicon Diesel or maybe a Mojave. Air bags would definitely be one of the first things I would do to either. I have them on my Willys and they help a lot. It was a pain to install.
Very good points. I came from a '21 Sierra AT4 3.0 Duramax and was spoiled by that engine. I did keep up with the maintenance intervals. That engine on the Gladiator would have been killer.
There are 4 new diesel Willys at my local dealer with leather, heated seats, bedliner, tow pack, body color top with headliner and switch group. I've been trying to get them to bring the price at 25% under but they are not budging. The one I like is at $12,700 under. Honestly
LOL. Pump. Phone...
All three. We have a camper and a flat bed trailer that we use to move our tractor and the occasional trip to the lumber yard. We live on 18 acres in the mountains at 7,300 feet and when towing you feel the effects of high elevation. Not bad to really justify a diesel but being that the 3.0 is...
Looking at trading my gas Willys for a diesel Rubicon. There are a few available and one has a great price (I think) but it has 60k miles. Is that too much mileage for 2021? I know diesels tend to last very long but I have no experience with a Jeep diesel. Thanks.
One thing you should be aware is that most LifePo4 batteries will not charge under 32 degrees Fahrenheit unless they have a built in heater. Discharging them under 32 degrees is not problem.
Coming from a '21 Sierra 1500 AT4 Duramax diesel and towing the same flatbed and camper, all I can say is that the 3.6 on my JTW is more than adequate. While it doesn't have a mountain of torque I was surprised at how well it tows our 20 foot Geo Pro and our tandem axle flatbed with my YJ on...
There are four identical in options at my local dealer. All Willys. All at the same price. I don't need a diesel but wouldn't mind it since we tire a camper.
I'm tempted in trading my '21 Willys 3.6 Sarge for a '23 Willys diesel Sarge with leather seats, cold weather, bedliner, headliner and tow pack. With dealer discount it comes to $50,900 from almost $64k. Should I pull the trigger? My truck is paid off and KBB estimated my trade value at...
I bought my '21 Willys with less than 15K miles back in April 2023 and about a month later I added the vehicle to my Jeep profile on the Jeep site. I checked on the Jeep Wave program to see if I had services left but it showed the Wave membership as being processed. I thought OK, this may take a...
