  1. Tan Tops

Agree, is on the list to get some paintable ones. If some highlines pop up cheap I will grab some but low priority at the moment.
  2. Tan Tops

Thanks I like straying away from the typical. Only on for last winter but held up fine so far, will go back on next month sometime I assume. Suntopper on currently
  3. Online wheel and tire purchases?

Even though they werent on your list I bought from Wheel Hero and was really disappointed. If Discount Tire had my wheels available, I think I would have paid the little extra money and went with local just for that peace of mind. They sent me some shit lugnuts that coating came off right away...
  4. Ecodiesel Recall 01A HPFP Parts are Available

If they fix the pump right then there should be no worry about getting a longer life out of of the pump I would think. Maybe there will be some kind of extended warranty on this part. There is already a 100k factory warranty on the diesel, not sure if that includes the fuel system though.
  5. Strike Expanded to Parts Distribution

Agree hospitals and insurances are corrupt.. but I would say my wife can make a pretty good living and is actually on the low end in our area. Yeah I know pay in general is very geographical based just pointing out why you see people may not support the UAW when comparing pay to what they do...
  6. Strike Expanded to Parts Distribution

Have mixed feeling here. College is expensive and is on a whole nother bull shit issue I have with it. What is crazy is that what I am seeing on this pay scale actually rivals what a tradesman and top range a foreman would make in my area. Not to say what they do isn't demanding work either...
  7. Ecodiesel Recall 01A HPFP Parts are Available

While I'm not beating down the door here to get mine done I wouldnt be too concerned about being first. Its just changing a fuel pump, I dont think they are actually replacing the rest of the system here.
  8. FCA Reports Q3 2023 US Sales, Including Jeep Gladiator Sales

Pretty consistent numbers all year. Obviously, the gladiator was going to die off from the initial excitement. Lets just hope the 13-14k units a Q sold is good enough for Stellantis with sharing the parts with its cash cow wrangler.
  9. Recalibrating for bigger tires?

Man Wish I saw this chart before I went Jscan route. I would have got the Lite and upgraded to get the other features when needed/wanted. OBD/Jscan still half the price but kowing you could upgrade may have swayed me.
  10. Jeep Gladiator Rubicon EcoDiesel

Checkered Flag used to be Pomoco and they were great then, bought a Ram from them. Glad to hear they still are decent. May have to check them out again as the dealership right down the street from me is not good. I went up to Northern Va for my deal as no dealers around me had diesels I...
  11. Strike Expanded to Parts Distribution

Looks like UAW is concentrating on GM and Stellantis and their parts distribution centers. Good luck to everyone here on getting that HPFP before EOY. UAW expands strike to 38 GM and Stellantis auto-parts distribution centers in 20 states - MarketWatch As I have not seen any new threads on...
  12. Getting Pennzoil Platinum 5W-40 Cheap

I couldn't see it either when I had the Jeep entered as a vehicle, once that was removed it worked. Then I selected the random filter it asked and then added the STP for the Gladiator. Deleted the useless one and it kept the price at $7 a quart for me. At that price it was not really cheaper...
  13. Jeep Gladiator Rubicon EcoDiesel

Felt like i got a pretty good deal and paid 47k for mine a year and a half ago now in Northern VA, only upgrade on mine was the alpine stereo I believe too.. Doesnt seem like a horrible price for Cali. And those RSI caps arent cheap either. No problems 22k miles, just waiting for the fuel...
  14. Latest 2024 Jeep Gladiator Order Guide Released [Updated Monthly]

Seems like something that will get some kickback. Especially with how easy all of these items are to swap in and out. Its not like other vehicles where adding/removing plastic changes the bodylines up. I am the waiting for bikini and put some mods on hold hoping for a better engine...
  15. Strike has begun

Thanks for posting this. Got me looking at the actual pay scale. Seems fulltime would be about right in my opinion (knowing mechanic wages in my area, obviously not the same geography though) but the supplemental here are the ones really getting screwed. If they are just being strung along...
  16. Strike has begun

Think the political debate he had was fine. Assuming his attack on a fellow forum member is the issue. Not sure the "baiting" no one has to reply to anything... take responsibility for yourself and what you say, pretty simple.
  17. Strike has begun

You would think this is a positive for the employees. I am not privy to the auto industry directly but I know alot of companies offer stock as payment/retirement. Decided to open the googler and they even are getting profit sharing at GM.. GM autoworkers eligible for up to $10,250 in...
  18. Retro "Embossed" Jeep Tailgate Badge Installed

I want to try this with my white jeep, and dont want black as everyone else. Like that you went with a different color here. Wonder if trying to color match white, matte white, or even tan would be the way to go..
  19. Dealership Tries to Buy Jeep During State Inspection

Funny as I have seen a fair share of Humvees and other military rides broken down on 64 over the years.. Some of their rides are pretty beat.
