Ecodiesel Recall 01A HPFP Parts are Available

Just saw in the app, parts are available! I haven't heard what they are all replacing with what parts so if anybody hears it would be interesting to know.

I heard the same thing. My truck has been built since May in Toledo waiting for the recall parts.
The dealer said they dont know what the fix it but its been announced, Not sure to who yet. LOL

I would venture to say that unfortunately, current owners may be last in line to get any attention on this. With that would also be dealers not getting the parts either, so they're not going to know jack.

Once a fix is available, the stop sale can be lifted, and I wouldn't be surprised if the first focus for the parts is then on new builds. They can now then sell them, so it's time to get the cash flowing. No cash comes in by giving the first pick of parts to current owners.

With that in mind, "parts available" is so ambiguous that you really can't make any decisions off it and will just send you down a spiraling rabbit hole. Heck, they could say that without any distribution actually occurring yet, getting everyone riled up in the process.

Yeah man. I think it's available now because it's approaching a year mark.

I wouldn't want to be number 3 on the list I want my mechanic to work on a few(alot) and get good and comfortable with it before he gets to mine.

While I'm not beating down the door here to get mine done I wouldnt be too concerned about being first. Its just changing a fuel pump, I dont think they are actually replacing the rest of the system here.
