Yes it's an issue. You may not be able to rotate your tires. I strongly recommend going back to the new shot and having the front's done. While they're at it, have them move the rears to the front and so you will know for sure the ones from the front don't rub on the rear.

I do remember having fun getting the front axle on my XJ to line up. The strap technique worked like a charm though. This was my first attempt at doing an install though. Before that, I had 20 years experience at tearing things apart. May have been part of the source of dads male pattern...
The best or easiest way I see it, not taking into account the added benefit of squat/dive correction is do you want impacts to your frame or spring and shock. The more horizontal or flat the control arm the more the spring and shock will absorb imperfections, dips, rocks, 2x4’s or what ever you...
Just an observation:
One doesn’t stick around and comment as much as he does and not get in trouble without being a wealth of knowledge to the community.
On the other hand, some folks are homeschooled and just done come off right. People skills, commentary…etc.
I work a crazy amount of...
TJ's were interesting, because their truly short arms exacerbated the issue. There are several videos out there that show lifted TJ's at a tall step or shelf where when the rear tires pushed the front axle against the ledge it would actually lift the front end, putting rearward motion to the...
I'll say this, on the front cover, it's not much of an inspection port. The electronics box for the locker on Rubicon's protrudes into the port. It is how ever nice sticking one of the new flexible bags up there to fill through it. The best I can tell, the fluid volume seems about the same...
@Hootbro, do you remember your front axle locker protruding into view port? Granted, I was half asleep, but I again thought I was going to have to take it off and go back with stock. I managed to get the view port plug tightened up with no apparent contact. Then I spent an hour and a half...
Unfortunately, I’m in my buddy’s shop…where we’ve kinda mixed our tools together and he’s out at a bog for the weekend…and took the whole freakin rolling tool chest…lol. I have a separate tool chest in my bed and while it’s pretty thorough, no pics. As I type that I realized I have stainless...
I did that with the bolts I used as dowel pins after grinding the heads off. I laid the bolts new, dowel and the ones that came out and they’re all the same.
I just put a bead on the cover, hang it on the dowel bolts, put a dab of blue on the new ones and twisted them right in hand tight...
