I'd go satin. Once the dirt and road spray have there way with it will blend in. While you watch assorted install videos you'll notice how shiny or new looking the paint is on units that are new and how flat the finish looks on units that have had a bit of living. It's normal. So My vote is...
I had a smiley stubble face wearing an American flag bandana T-shirt 20 years ago. Wore the shit out of that T-shirt. haven't been able to find another since. The bottom of it ended up with a bunch of holes in it from my belt buckle. Wouldn't have that issue now...been a while since my T's...
I've had my stockers in deep sand aired down to 18...never stuck, pulled out full size trucks and Suburban...no issues as long as you air down. They also wear extremely well. Just be sure to rotate no more than 5k-6k. If you (OP) get them installed at Discount Tire that won't be an issue cuz...
Nitto has a Grapler all terrain model that's 37x11.5 / 17. I won't consider this tire because I've seen way to many with poor wear. Also, stay clear of Load Range E 10 ply's. Those are for 3/4 and 1 Ton trucks.
One of the most notable changes for me was my right knee would make constant contact with the 4wd shift knob. Now, my knee is well behind it. No more hot spots.
If memory serves me right, the front is up 1/2 and I have 1 small puck in the rear after cutting the rear frame. I'm 6'3 and it's fine for me. The longest 1 way trip I've taken is 1300 miles and it was fine for me.
From the way I've heard them explain it, the Clayton front springs have already calculated in a steel bumper and a winch + 1/2 to remove some of the rake.
I think the issue with some of the manufacturers is that they didn't take the time to engineer for an additional 400lbs for the motor only...
So here’s the deal on the oem’s. They have spill designed in.
What does this mean…?
Well, obviously, I haven’t spent the money to buy all the aftermarket lights out there, but they seem consistent with what we would do years ago and buy Hella housings and H-4 bulbs. They would have such a...
A vehicle is a depreciable asset. It’s now a 2year old used vehicle. If aftermarket add ons are not documented they will be an uphill battle. With the car market the way it is pinning anyone down to a value is difficult at best.
Atty vs PA. All I will say is if you end up getting an...
She treated me for a drive up across the GA state line where I saved $25 per role of snuff and I treated her to 19.04 gallons of fuel that's $.71 cheaper per gallon than my neck of the woods. Saved a good $63.71.
You can free up some budget money from the tires and wheels by going with a 17” setup plus gain other benefits. Look at @Clayton Off Road base kits so you can upgrade as time goes on.
The price you quoted for the BDS seems crazy, but i'll leave you to that one.
I think you're making a mistake with regard to the 18" wheels. You will have to air down to much lower pressures to facilitate the same squat you get with 17's to increase offroad traction and much smoother ride...
