From what I've seen, bouncing will more likely break a U-Joint or inner axle. I suspect this was what happens when you bounce a lot and forget to do preventative maintenance and tighten your sheet up!!!

Use the Clayton rear track bar. It provides more clearance and allows for no contact with the spare of a 37” tire.

Be sure to splurge on the upgraded UV protection. Seriously helps keep it black with a little gloss. If you don’t, it will fade pretty quickly and look chalky. I have it on both my JTRD and 08 Dodge 2500.
