What I find nuts is you being a member on this forum since May of 2020 and you don’t know or recognize the symptoms of death wobble. Joking but you didn’t mention it as a possibility in your opening post.
From what I've seen, bouncing will more likely break a U-Joint or inner axle. I suspect this was what happens when you bounce a lot and forget to do preventative maintenance and tighten your sheet up!!!
Oh I definitely agree. My problem is now that I work way too much.
One thing I’m kind of interested to find out with that little handout that they’re supposed to give us on the dash is what it’s gonna say about the fuel. There’s commentary in the write up where it mentions B5 fuel, which will...
I’ve got no problem with that. If anything, this issue has taught me or reminded me to consolidate my trips over the last year. I’m about 2 weeks from owning mine for 2 years. I’ve taken 2 trips where I burned about 5,000 miles and I have about 24300 on the odometer. It definitely has the...
Wire Brush and a rattle can. Semi-gloss black should work.
Just be sure to tape off the rotor and caliper really well and let it sit overnight to cure.

Be sure to splurge on the upgraded UV protection. Seriously helps keep it black with a little gloss. If you don’t, it will fade pretty quickly and look chalky. I have it on both my JTRD and 08 Dodge 2500.
I don’t see where you got that I was a manual hater. Just pointing out that autos have come a long way. You sure got your panties in a twist for someone pointing out something’s that may be different than your own opinion, but is based on sound information. If you want to be leave you are...
I fully understand the concept of personal preference to a point that it affects performance, reliability and value of a vehicle designed for utility. When it comes to trucks, tow ratings have been reduced due to optioning a standard transmission since at least the 80’s when they started to...
Honestly, I just don’t understand why folks wouldn’t get the auto. It’s the 8-sp automatic that woke this engine up.
I get the manual is cool thing. I had one in my “99 TJ, but mostly to keep some length in the rear driveshaft and the auto back then sucked or to be fair isn’t near the...
