  1. Dealer can’t get battery

What are the type or size of the batteries? I have a JTRD, but think it came with the smaller of the two. When I replace I want to go with the larger one...or the larges the tray will allow.
  2. New Clayton 2.5" Kit!

Based on Clayton's previous commentary, you'll net more from the front as it takes about 1/2" to 3/4" of the front rake out. Additionally, the front springs are with the anticipation of a steel front bumper and I think a winch also. This being said, I'm sure @Clayton Off Road will chime in...
  3. New Clayton 2.5" Kit!

Do you have a steel bumper and winch?
  4. Pentastar 6 vs the Wrangler 2.0

I rented one that I took down to Miami for work. On the highway it was fine. Driving around town I found it to be downright dangerous. Why? There is a ton of lag. When maneuvering through traffic and going turning through intersections ...if you are "safely" turning in traffic there's...
  5. Badlands Apex 12 / steel oem bumper

Oh yeah...forgot about that little sucker. I ran mine behind the loom coming out the side. You can see it zooming in on my 3rd photo above.
  6. Badlands Apex 12 / steel oem bumper

You can go to Harbor Freight and pickup one of those multi pack boxes with different sizes. I left my hole open to aid in the removal of the inevitable moisture that will get in the box. Don't mess with any other wiring that doesn't exit the standard hole in the rear of the unit. I'll edit...
  7. Absolutely destroyed my hands installing the Tazer Mini

I'm so biting my tongue right now...
  8. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I'm assuming only meant for those 5'6" or so? I have a Seat Slammer installed and that thing would still meet me at the eyebrow...
  9. Gauge Cluster from a 3.0l to 3.6l?

I 2nd the Why? Tach is definitely different.
  10. STATE FARM WILL NOT INSURE MY GLADIATOR1

I've been with USAA for over 35 years. I have 2 PU's including the Gladiator, a rental policy and an RV. I'm paying over $1300 every 6 mos...and I feel it's high...but I typically don't shop it around. How have you liked Progressive since switching?
  11. Rubicon suspension

A buddy of mine has a 2018 JL Sport. He got a Take-Off Diesel JL suspension. Additionally, he picked up JL High-Line fenders, which actually do more to provide tire clearance, from FB marketplace. He installed Toyo 35x11.5r17 tires and it works like a charm. He has an Arcus steel bumper with...

Or...the compressor is mounted under the passenger seat with a satellite port under the driver's seat. When not in use you don't know any different...but, when you do need it you always have it and don't have to worry about the refills or maintenance.
  13. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

This is a good question, which I don't have an answer. I believe the CO2 is compressed into liquid form. Once it leaves the tank it turns into a gas and expands, which is how it creates pressure. I'm not sure this is how H20 works.
  14. The passenger compartment is just a suggestion...

There’s a ton of them out there. Click bate on tiktok to get views and commentary. Fake as fake can be. Not much different than the title of this post.
  15. The passenger compartment is just a suggestion...

I can do that to a solid block of Steel with a computer animation also. No news there.

I get it. but think of it this way... That small amount of time gives you the opportunity to check your rig out to make sure nothing loosened up for a safe drive home...take a leak etc. Additionally, if you're airing up where you're worried about disturbing people late at night...you're not...
  17. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I tried in Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Tyler TX, and several other places in TX and non of them did it in house nor did they know somewhere that did it on the spot. Supposedly, they send them to a non retail location that does them in bulk. If memory serves me right, I did attempt to inquire...
  18. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Never had it done. They wanted me to turn in the tank and couldn't guarantee the condition or even if I could get the same tank back. 3 places basically pointed to standard grey tanks they had sitting along the wall and indicated they could transfer the hardware over. My 15lb tank is sitting...

Mine have been reliable as well. What Power Tank doesn't explain is that the tanks, being containers for liquified gas, are stamped with dates. Anywhere that fills CO2 has to pay attention to those dates, because if one fails, they become liable. This is why they have to be "Float" Tested or...
