If you’re 6’4”, there’s an important mod missing from your list. Look up seat slammers…not to be mistaken for seat jackers. Same company different product. It raises the front of the seat by 1/2 - 3/4” and lowers the rear up to 2”. It provides a more comfortable driving position, moves your...
Okay...I'm going to be the unpopular one here and I can't believe I'm going to say the following...
When I made my mind up on getting what I did, it was a JTRD or nothing. I wanted the option and have the intent to do a clean but VERY functional build. There were too many options on the...
Actually, I think the diesel models also include the wider axles as the torq of the engine would need the larger stronger components…. The rear ring gear should be 220mm and front 210mm. I think the front narrower axles have a 185mm in the front and a 210mm in the rear.
Edit: Further beefing...
The axles under the Rubicon's and Mohave's are a tad bit wider than the rest unless you have the heavy duty tow package. This may be what he was saying...
I'm with Hootbro. I think they look great. Don't know if I'd want them sticking out an additional 1.5 to 2.25 inches. Your ball joints won't be thanking you... your mileage will go down more, turning radius will get larger and you'll be scrubbing those suckers while turning that steering...
Understand, at this point, luckily, I’m not experiencing the same issues as you, but please remember your dealer has Zero power to address this now. Granted, you could get an off-the-shelf unit to get you by, which I would recommend if they’re offering, to alleviate some anxiety.
On another...
It’s possible that it’s built sitting in a lot waiting for a fuel pump or repair parts. I think it was a no-sale order that was issued until a remedy is ready. Somewhere else in this post they’ve stated that it’s due out in August 2023. Either way, they can’t deliver it to you until the...
When you did the original upgrade, did you have a dealership flash the computer or use an aftermarket scanning tool have the system recognize the modification?
Of the replacements I've seen, I like this one the best, but they have a fatal flaw for those with sensors...they're incompatible. Therefore, are not an option. I like the fact that they have replacement light modules...same as the commercial industry. have an issue with a light replace the...
Easy to explain…in my mind anyway.
When idling on park or neutral there is no resistance against the engine. If there were, the engine idle would reduce at the risk of stalling.
When in gear and you lift your foot off the brake, you roll forward…maintaining engine idle speed. If someone were...
Outside of select speed control the idol is no different than any other vehicle with an automatic transmission. When you apply the torq multiplication possible with up to a 4:1…yes it will sound like it’s reving…a little.
If it's similar to the one in my Dodge, after starting the engine, I first hit the brake button then the tow/haul button. Service brakes last a long time and when I had the Trans fluid changed at 102,000 the tech asked if I just had it changed. It's a plus plus.
