The suspension off of the Rubicon LE I put on my Sport S is definitely stiffer. It’s a much better ride now and the rear sits 1” higher so I’m hoping it doesn’t squat as bad when towing...not that it was a lot before changing the springs but I would like a little less. There’s a section of the...
I looked back through the for sale section and found one Rubicon takeoff with the 343AC and one with the 339AC but both had the 340AC. So which side does the 340AC actually go on or does it really matter????
The kit I got was from a Rubicon LE (if it makes any difference) and had the 340 and...
I put the larger numbers on the passenger side and gained 1” on the rear and actually 3/4” On the front and I’m satisfied that I have the springs in the proper locations.
Got a Rubicon LE takeoff suspension and the numbers on the springs are as previously posted except one is a 339 AC instead of 343 AC????
So the two I have for the front is 340AC and 339AC so which goes where ???
So now I’m confused....is the Sport S with Rubicon suspension going to sag more towing a 2100# camper with 325# tongue weight? Will it be stiffer than stock?
I had Cosswind A/T’s 285/75/16 on my Jeep Wrangler and really liked them and wanted to put them on my Gladiator but they don’t make them in. 285/75/17. All the A/T’s I find in that size are in the $250 and up range. Checked with my tire dealer and he said the largest tire in that brand he could...
I don’t do off road camping but a lot of people use these A Frame campers for off-roading. They even come with m/t tires and the Gladiator doesn’t even know it’s back there weighing in around 2100#
I’m looking forward to it. Wanting the extra inch plus I tow a good bit. The larger numbers do go on the passenger side front and rear correct?
All I need now is tires.
Did you change all the parts or just shocks and springs? I know some have posted the Rubicon and Sport S parts were the same except for shocks and springs.
Mine does this too on long trips. Purchased it in Virginia Beach Va. and did it all the way back to New Orleans. It’s definitely noticeable....probably wait to see if there’s a fix before taking it in so they can tell me they can’t duplicate the the problem. But I will notify them about it, in...
