  1. We just re-Geared our Gladiator, very happy with our choice - Video inside with RPMs

    5.13 for me. Swapping 4.10 to 4.88 is a waste and not enough for 37” and up. The tires are heavier. The factory Rubicon could’ve went with 4.56 nicely. It’s impossible to gear to low with the 8 speed auto and any tire bigger than 35”

    I had V8 trucks in past 1979 Ford F-350 400m 140HP 6-8 mpg 1986 K30 Chevy 454 230HP 6-8 MPG 1997 Ford F-350 460 245HP 6-8 mpg 2007 Ford F-150 5.4. 260HP 10-12mpg This V6 auto , blows them all away and gets better mpg

    Great comments and insight. I would love also , but unfortunately in reality FCA is moving away from the V8. Maybe a turbo something with V8 like power.

    Maybe, one has the H.O alternator or California model designation , flex fuel , export , automatic and manual ?

    They’re forcing these options on the wrangler buyers as well. I agree with many who do not want this safety group I specifically ordered my Rubicon wrangler without it and hoping to order my 2021 gladiator without it as well. Fingers crossed it’s a temporary forced addition. When the new order...
