To your question they either trashed the transmission or disconnected the drive shaft.
Maybe the took a car down, traded in for that and had to get it all home.
Who knows.
One is a knock off of the Warn version, the other is a knock off of the OEM version.
Not sure which one I'll get in the mail :CWL:
From the review pics, and the guys posting here, it looks like the OEM version, which is the one I prefer.
The Warn version is a little taller, but kida blocks...
Yes! Got it from Mirage Trailers here in Nampa ID (just out side Boise). It's a 16' box 7' wide V nose. Full bath in the nose. I have 100 gal water, 50 gray and black tanks. AC, 100 watt Solar etc. 5000 lb axles.
It's all steel construction, 6" frame. She's a beef cake. Heaver than I thought it...
Max Tow edition, running 4.10's with 285/75R17's.
I'm having a 2.5" lift put in and will go up to 35's shortly. At that point I'm going to regear to 4.88's most likely and or 4.56's. Leaning 4.88's. Will do a front locker at that point also.
With the gear calculator 4.56's should put me...

No locker will be going in the rear, I like the LSD and my selctrac combo for winter driving.
I am trying to decide what to do up front, E locker is my plan but may do an LSD up front but I'm 87% surte I'm doing an e locker up front.
Factory LSD, regear, swap it w a Truetrac 22k miles?
Title says it all, worth the $780 to swap it while they are in there, or keep it as is? It's not terably hard to change them later?
I find a lot of threads like this are like gun forum threads, what are you carrying?
And 45 pounds later in every pocket of the cargo pants have litteraly everything and the kitchen sink.
:CWL:
Winch up front, factory spare tire, then in the "bag" I have a jump starter, rear reciver...
Another trip down to Moab, just under 600 miles each way.
Elivation here is apx 3500 ft, in Moab apx 4500 ft, topped out at 7700 or so on hwy 89/6 out of Spanish Fork.
I drive 63 mph with the trailer hooked up, seems to be my sweet spot for 5 gear most of the way, good use of 4th and some...
Well after almost 3 years, two trips to Moab, Iāve decided a lift is in order.
Itās amazing what the rigs can do basically stock, but dragging and scraping on even moderate/easy trails caused me to re think the process.
So! AEV 2.5ā kit is on order. I meet them down in Moab, great guys, nice...
