So even if they start production on 8/26, most of us should not expect delivery until October. :( That will be over 6 months waiting on a order placed on April 4th. I REALLY hope Jeep will come up with some form of compensation for the patience their Granite Crystal Metallic Launch Edition...
Soldering that connection is a VERY tough thing to do. The contact conductor on the window is very thin and easily wicked off. I would recommend having the dealership warranty replace it. It should not be breaking off that easy.

I hope the run them early!! I have a Granite Crystal LE out there with my name on it!! So jealous of the White/Black/Red/Silver guys! I am remaining strong though. I want my Granite Crystal!! :)

According to the "Color Availability Chart", this may be the case. It says "Granite Crystal Metallic starting 6/20", but "Granite Crystal Metallic Launch Edition starting 7/8"
See here...
$3K. Ouch. Agreed, definitely better than $65K if it is not what you want/need. Was the $3K a voluntary deposit amount? My dealer just asked for $500...

“We don’t want it to be really expensive. I think it got to start at less than $50,000 – it’s got to be like $49,000 starting price max. Ideally less. It just can’t be unaffordable. It’s got to be something...
Definitely 5 tires. I checked.
I have no idea the list price markup over cost is on the lift and tires. But I bet you would be hard pressed today to walk into a dealership parts department and get them to sell you the Mopar lift for less than list. The price on the tires is from TireRack...
Completely agree on these points. I think everyone would agree that doing this kind of modification work through a dealership would come at a premium price. And if you want to compete the deal with multiple dealerships and potentially have to travel to get your vehicle, you can save alot of...
So the price as listed is: $62,580
MSRP on the Rubicon: $59,090
List on the Lift: $1495
List on the Tires: 5 x $300 = $1,500 (*Price from TireRack.com)
Install labor on lift: $750
Install labor on tires: $200
At list pricing: $63,035.
So not the best deal by any means, but not a...
Nope. As I said in my original post, I have no affiliation with the dealership other than using the service department.
They are definitely asking a premium on the aftermarket lift and tires. I am just unsure why everyone wants to key off that one vehicle versus the other 17 that are below...
