In your pic the trailer isn't 100% supported by the hitch. Bring that foot up some more and your tailgate to jack distance decreases. Could it be done? Sure. Could it be done successfully? Maybe.
I have a trifold that I love! I don't daily drive with a rack and RTT so I swap them back and forth. I couldn't imagine carrying stuff in the bed and not have it protected from the elements.
Same can be said about the Tacos. I've owed 2 and put over 100,000 miles on each. Neither had a single issue. Both of my jeep have has serious power train issues outside the warranty.
I'm debating this as well. I know that every manufacturer has issues, my last jeep had a bad transmission and the Gladiator is getting cams and rockers replaced. I'm doubting the longevity of the Gladiator.
Scrolling through Amazon for a cheap-ish 9" bed rack and this came up. Does anyone have one and are there any issues? I just can't justify $1000 for a bed rack at the moment.
Nevermind, I found the answer.
Like many modern vehicles, the pentastar 3.6 has a 2 stage oil pump. The pump is metered by a duty cycle based solenoid stuck right inside the body of the pump, that activates stage 2 at 3,000 rpm. Normal stage 1 pressure is 30 psi. Normal stage 2 pressure is...
2020 Sport S MT, I do have a bad cam follower that will be replaced once the right parts show up.
I'll maintain 30 psi of oil pressure but at higher revs like 4k the pressure jumps to 75 psi and hangs out there for a bit even after shifting and dropping the revs back to 2k.
Is this normal?
I love my Gladiator for what it is. I knew I wouldn't get the plushes ride or quietest cabin but I still smile daily when I drive it. Today, it's top and doors off! Try that with a Ranger!
I'm waiting for the Rivian shakedown. It will be my next truck in 2024 if it is still going strong.
I guarantee they are quoting the newest CR and JD power midsized truck report on every Bronco forum. https://www.motorbiscuit.com/consumer-reports-j-d-power-agree-worst-midsize-truck/ it's just what car people do.
