I've been running 35's for over a year. It isn't bad at all. I have a MT and never use 6th gear. I do want to eventually re-gear just so I can tow a boat. But I have a pickup for that.
Those are nice, but not $1000 nice.

There is a piano hinge under the carpet on the side closest to the back. I have a 1x1 that drops down on the front right and the left side rests on the cup holders.
If I get a duck, it's going on the closest jeep. I don't mind people leaving them on the hood or door handle but once I found one in my cup holder. That pissed me off, don't open my door and put stuff in my vehicle.
