  2. Two weeks and 470 miles of Jeep ownership and already a Check Engine Light

TAKE IT TO THE F’n DEALER! My bet is that the batteries are low given the plethora of issues you’re having. Just get a loaner and be done with it. BTW, I’ve had BMW’s and Mercedes and those were mechanical nightmares..just sayin’.😎
  3. Whelp...it's my turn...busted visor :-(

Well…. It just happened to me and I ordered the parts thanks to the fine folks here. THANKS!
  4. Jeep CEO Antonio Filosa appointed to Stellantis committee taking over from ousted CEO Carlos Tavares

Can both of you guys be right? The average single family home has at least 2 cars. If one of them is an EV then you both win. Thats the situation we have (although we have 4 vehicles) but we drive our Tesla and Gladiator the most. We are going to NH for Christmas which will be around 800...
  5. Please help pick the right tires

I have the Toyota AT3’ in 11.5 on stock rim and they are fine. If you want a better street tire look into an All Season if you can find the size you’re looking for or get the KO2’s as they aren’t as aggressive…
  6. Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares resigns

About …time! What a worthless pos. I hope the new ceo will understand the American market and give its clients ( past and current) what they have been asking for…
  7. How much carrier bearing spacer for a 3.5” lift?

I have the AEV full suspension upgrade with about a 3” lift. I went this route because everything was designed to go together. The kit included 3 shims which amounted to about 1, 1/8” total
  8. Kinetic Rope Suggestions

    Here’s a smokin‘ deal…...
  9. Stinging article on Stellantis on CNN. Not looking good.

There is nothing in that article that is news to anyone here or who has been paying attention to the market. If you remember over the last 2 years virtually all the American executives were either forced to retire or left. i.e. the Stelantis BOD doesn't have a clue about the American market...
  10. North Carolina WTB Mopar steel front bumper

Willing to travel a bit. Let me know if you have one. THANKS.
  11. Aux front bumper lighting opinions (black friday looming)

  12. Extreme review of the KO2's

The ONLY people with weapons were the military. They all carried various forms of AK47’s (they buy most of their weapons from Russia). We had to report our camp spots every night to the regional military guard. Twice they came to visit us in camp and one time when we were very remote they sent...
  13. Extreme review of the KO2's

Absolutely not! While I carry when traveling in the US, bringing a firearm into the EU is virtually impossible. Then trying to bring one into Algeria is a certain date with the Algerian prison system. They take that very seriously since about 20 years ago when a small group of armed terrorists...
  14. Extreme review of the KO2's

I have to say that I’m with you. I bought a set of KO2’s for my foreman a couple of years ago and they didn’t last very long so that was the basis for me trying Toyo’s and I have been very impressed in the two trucks I have them on. The performance of the KO2’s in the Sahara led me to write...
  15. Would you tow it?

I’ve seen this trailer being towed by a Gladiator around here. I will tell you that trailer specs are ALWAYS WRONG! The weights are with a stripped down model without things like propane, water or any options that may be available. If you have one locally I would suggest you let the salesman...
  16. Can’t decide which wheel size to go with. Need help!

This! If you drive 99% on pavement then 18” wheels will give you less sidewall and better handling. If you off-road then 17’s are the answer.
  17. Diesel Tuners Indicted for smuggling...

I'm in the process of flying back to the US after an off-road expedition in the Sahara Desert. All the vehicles were highly modified diesel SUV's that had their emission stuff deleted. The vehicles were registered in France, Austria and Switzerland. The garages that help maintain them know that...
  18. Garmin Tread XL Overland Sideloading PSA

Hi guys! Just an update to this thread. I ended up getting an Overlander and have spent the last year getting used to it in the US as a primer for the big trip I just finished circumnavigating the Sahara Desert! We had crazy weather with highs over 50 degrees C (over 120F). Those using iPad...
  19. Extreme review of the KO2's

8800 My apologies for setting the stage as most of the members here have never driven on anything remotely as difficult as this... the KO2's exceeded everyone's expectations in some of the roughest terrain you could drive on including very sharp rocks, deep sand and very steep terrain. 5 Stars!
