The mounting rails were cut. The holes in the tent base are on the four corners of a large square, so drilling is not required. I’ll remove the tent for the winter and get everything 100% adjusted then. The rack length needs to be shortened about 3” because I’m anally retentive.

Since then, I rotated the tent 90 degrees to come out the back.

That plastic piece at the back end of the t-slot is hokey and poorly designed. It shouldn’t spin on the bolt like they have it. it should have a second bolt or a pin to keep it from spinning. You can check the seal at night by turning on the bed lamp and looking for light bleeding through.

Nice write up 👍 “Intermittent, radio freezes (RVC not affected).” I see this if using a map and streaming music at the same time while plugged in to the center console. Plugging into the dash is much more stable. Maybe this will help.
