The actual air system mount took a couple of hours to get setup and installed. The install does not require any drilling and is very straight forward. The rear of the mount bolts to a bracket that gets added to a frame crossmember and the front sets on top of the t-cast skid. It’s a tight fit...
I spent the weekend installing a complete onboard air system on the gladiator. Here’s a list of the parts I used:
Maximus-3 compressor and tank mount
Viair 425 gen 2 dual compressors
Viair 2.5 gallon 200 psi tank
Up-down air tire inflation system
Kleinn JL220 air horn kit
Just got my compressor mount yesterday. They moved the compressors to mount together on one end which should help out with wiring and plumbing the system. I will get some pictures of it this weekend. My plan is to start on the install this weekend also. Keep an eye out for some updates.
I don't have more info than these pictures and their source will not be named. That said, here are some spy shots of the upcoming LEER fiberglass topper for the Gladiator
I've gone about 8-10 years. I'm usually over the crowded group trails after about 2 of them. Were running back roads and trails most of the way between Grand Junction and Moab on the way out there to get some extra wheeling in without any crowds.
We registered for Fins and Things and Top of the World yesterday for EJS. Still a lot of trail openings as of this morning, but if you're not a club member its still a few days till you can get registered.
