My biggest problem with most after market wheels is that they are predominately black - flat, polished, machined. Not a fan of black wheels, but to each their own. That's what makes this community and the Jeeps on display so cool.

I've had no issues getting up to or maintaining speed here in Houston. When we have taken it on trips, it's cruised all day without issues as well. In fact it feels a lot livelier than my 2014 JKU.

Went aftermarket with a set of NFAB - Predator Pro Nerf steps. Easy to install and they look great.

Mine is a DD and we like to take the top off and let the grandkids enjoy riding in the open Jeep just like the JK. Like the OP, just want to do some light trails etc. so we can have some fund with the grandkids as well.
