The Griots Ceramic Spray on Wax at AutoZone was $19.99 and their chemical guys clay bar was 29.99. I will get multiple uses out of both. Overall to clay bar and do the ceramic spray took about 2 hours. That $50 was a lot cheaper than taking it somewhere to have done.
It's a stress reliever for me, so you are not alone. Whenever I have used a car wash on previous vehicles, I wasn't totally happy with the result. So hand wash for both of my vehicles. Use mainly Griots and Chemical Guys products so I see my UPS driver often.
Took delivery and noticed that the paint felt grainy. So I did a clay bar and ceramic coat on it. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be to do. Griots spray on ceramic was pretty easy and it looks pretty awesome.
