It is interesting that the Invoice price seem to have gone up and not the MSRP for most options/packages (the ones that got bumped by $100 or more seem to have an increase on the MSRP column as well). If that is true, it looks like FCA is trying to squeeze a little more profit out of the dealers.
That would be cool to see and I just 100lbs as around figure. That kind of test could give you a number you could market over the factory setup.
Also, when I was on your Overland Plus lift page, there was not link to the page you posted a few minutes ago. You might think about linking to that...
Sorry, but I don't recall where I saw/heard that. I know I've talked about it in other threads. I think it would have had to be in one of the articles posted in the Mojave announcement threads or the FLT video.
Thanks for the additional info. So the springs are designed with a higher rates which translates to more weight carrying capacity, but there was no target of "additional" weight tested. I'm not stating that as a good or bad thing, just as what I understand. It would be interesting to test how...
@Bbannongmu Thanks for the link. After a little digging around on their site, I was able to find where they listed the spring rates. It is nice to see someone share that info about their products. I would still like to know how much extra weight the tested these springs for since they...
The beefier frame could be a plus with all the extra weight of overlanding gear. As to adding the front locker and e-disco to the Mojave, a front ARB locker will set you back about $1500 installed (the required on board air will be shared with the overlanding expenses) and disconnecting the...
To clarify, did you match the stock spring rates or just the progression of the rates (to achieve additional weight capacity)? Speaking of additional weight, how much extra did you design the springs to carry?
Please drop a link in this thread for the pre-order/spring rate info so we don't...
It is funny how things are missed on forums. This article was post back on the 6th in the main Mojave thread. Why do forum search functions have to suck so much?
If they go with the 18g tank, the towing performance on the lighter side will really have to be noticeable to justify the extra up front and on going costs. If it is not a night and day difference, then I'll probably get the gasser and put a Gen-Right extended tank on it for under $2k and call...
I too am hoping that they keep the 22g tank for the JT-ED. That would go a long ways in making me purchase it.
Gasser: 22g x 15mpg = 330 miles per tank
Diesel: 18g x 24mpg = 432mpt
Diesel: 22g x 24mpg = 528mpt
As to the towing, I don't plan on towing anything besides my OGT offraod trailer...
I agree that it is unproven. But that also means that issues from past generations should not be applied to it until they show up. We as consumers can't have it both ways. Only time will tell I guess.
I personally think FCA just kept the name EcoDiesel for marketing reasons and less so...
Just out of curiosity, how many of those mechanical failures that are posted daily are on the new EcoDiesel? I don't really do FB, so I'm honestly asking.
I think this might be a little bit of an over reaction. I don't know the mod that moved your thread, but they were just doing their job. This is the section of the forum that it belongs in. If I was to come looking for info on putting lockers in a Sport, I'd look in the axle subforum.
It...
Welcome to Jeep'n. Since you are in CO, join traildamage.com (costs $12 I think). It is probably the single best trail resource site for CO (441 trails) and UT (183 trails).
