  1. Overland that doesn't "Overland"

What you really need to do is rethink the 26' trailer and get something that can go were your JT can go, not the other way around. When you go camping, you are supposed to leave the house at home ;)
  2. Overland that doesn't "Overland"

Been here over a year now. I found this place once the JT was more than just a rumor. The iKampers are pretty nice, but if I was doing all over again I'd get the Roofnest Falcon. And a 26' trailer?!?!? You should trade the JT in on a RAM 1500. lol
  3. Overland that doesn't "Overland"

All I heard Grant was blah blah blah. lol I should have know you would be on this forum as well. So you ordered the Upper Decker? I'd like to check that out when it comes in. It is on my short list of rack options. Even with my OGT trailer (which you should come checkout some time) I'd...
  4. MOPAR 2" Lift Travel, Compressed and Extended specs?

I'm really surprised no one that has installed the Mopar life them selves have measured and posted this info. I'm interested in this info to see if the stock Mojave shocks could support a 2" lift. I'll let you know if I find this info out. You do the same please.
  5. Does anyone know of a long range fuel tank?

Interesting. I would have thought that submerging the battery during water crossings would have been and issue. Reading up on it, it looks like it is not that big of a deal so long as there is a little be of a current draw on the battery. Learn something new everyday!
  6. Warning: Center Bezel Trim Is Fragile

Yeah, that does not look too bad. I don't know if I'd even notice it if it was not pointed out. Could some Velcro help hold it in better from the inside?
  7. Overland that doesn't "Overland"

If I was to redo my RTT purchase, I would save up a bit more and buy the hard shell style. They are way easier to setup and break down and you can mount solar panels to them.
  8. Does anyone know of a long range fuel tank?

You plan on putting your aux battery under the truck? What are your plans to water proof that area? That could be an interesting setup. Yes, it does put a damper on the project. Those two items does not immediately kill this for me, but it does require some more planning.
  9. Overland that doesn't "Overland"

For that style of camping, I'd highly advise against a RTT setup. It would drive you crazy. Lets face it, 99% of us have/want the JT because of the cool factor. Sure it can off road and it can haul things, but there are better options for both out there. I'd probably go so far as to say...
  10. Warning: Center Bezel Trim Is Fragile

Thanks. This will be good info for when I get my JT and need to pull that thing off.
  11. My new Star Wars nerdy Jeep Stuff

Star Wars themed Jeeps are pretty cool. I've made up several sets of vent covers and some other interior and exterior trim parts over the years for them.
  12. Does anyone know of a long range fuel tank?

I just found this thread, but I also talked to LRA back and Feb and they confirmed they were working a 17 gallon tank as @smlogbx posted above. They also sent me the PDF for the product. I'm attaching it to this post. Cost should be in the $1700 range. I'm also hoping they will make one for...
  13. Warning: Center Bezel Trim Is Fragile

Can one of you guys post a pic that shows where the clips are and how to release them?
  14. Overland that doesn't "Overland"

It is a mix of ease and comfort and the fun of modifying you vehicle. Not much different than moding a sports car really. How much people spend comes down to how much they enjoy both the camping portion and the modifying portion of the hobby as well as how much disposable hobby money they have...
  15. 2020 Jeep Gladiator (JT) ORDER GUIDE!! [Updated Monthly]

The "no diesel" could have been me just reading between the lines with what I said above and that there was no mention of a forth coming diesel option in the unveiling in Chicago. You might be better served waiting for the Ranger Raptor for this. Jeep has offered high HP versions of the Grand...
  16. 2020 Jeep Gladiator (JT) ORDER GUIDE!! [Updated Monthly]

I only read the articles posted in the main Mojave thread and I think the only two videos I watched were the FLT vid from Chicago and the actual Chicago reveal. So if it is not in there, I don't know where I got it from. One thing to note though is that it appears that Jeep is not offering the...
  17. Mojave vs. Rubicon: In-Depth Comparison and Differences

Thanks Travis. I knew about the Tread Lightly deal, just did not know that is what FCA classified it as.
  18. Mojave vs. Rubicon: In-Depth Comparison and Differences

Travis, Can you explain what a FCA Control Number is and how somebody acquires one? Thanks.
  19. 2020 Jeep Gladiator (JT) ORDER GUIDE!! [Updated Monthly]

I'm pretty sure it is the MOPAR Snorkel that has been out for the JL for a while now. Quadratec sales it for $750. This price guide has it listed at $50 less, so not sure if it is a different one or just a little cheaper when ordered as part of a build. There are also quite a few videos out...
  20. Mojave vs. Rubicon: In-Depth Comparison and Differences

Yep, I've used that trick for years, but not typically on forms. I hate having to search a forum externally. Back in the vBulletin days there was a plugin that put a good search right in the forums search bar. That was better but still not ideal.
