I have the Evo 10s with the same functions and remote. The remote isn’t rechargeable. It comes with a battery that needs to be replaced if it ever dies. Keep that wire handy in case the battery dies when you need it. I know some of the newer ones use 3 AAAs but, if yours is a single battery...

AFAIK, the dash speakers are tweeters only. May be different in AU spec? Swapping out to a 2-way from a tweeter only helped me.
