It appears to me that being heavier and with more unsprung mass I only lost a little over 2 mpg. I do think that a gear change would pick up 1-2 mpg. It really seems to be a small price to pay for the increased ability...and looks.

Mine only has GVWR of 6250 and cargo/occupants not to exceed 1185. Subtract the the two for 5065 as baseline would be close. So the topper and various modifications/add ones like 415lbs. That's kind of what I figured anyway. Thanks
I finally got a chance to weigh my Gladiator Rubicon and it is heavy ! The weight with me in it was 5,780 pounds. I knew that as equipped with various modifications/accessories it would be pretty heavy but wow! All of that stuff adds up. I was in it so subtract 300 pounds, so 5570 with 1/4 tank...
