I know it.... my back and neck problems really show their ugly selves while under vehicles. Even as long as I've worked on aircraft, I like them better.
I have the flares ready to install, but still trying to figure out the best way to relief cut them on the back. Do you happen to have pictures of how you cut them? I'm wondering if it's easier to shape them to the "low fenders" vs the Rubicon fenders.
Thanks for the info! We did think about Panther Valley next time. We're planning another run at HS in May and then try Hidden Falls and/or Bridgeport in June for another couple of badges?
My Commander diff fluid is DIR-TEE at 10-15K. I even swapped to Amsoil. The full-time 4WD really takes a toll on it. I'm still debating on when I'll actually replace fluids on the JT, as I intend to replace diff covers at the same time.
That's weird, when I Google Hobo Bear, it gives me this.
I call shenanigans.... is this like Man Bear Pig? Where nobody takes you cereal until it's too late?
Completely stock other than -12 offset Rocktrix wheels. As mentioned before, very doable in a stock JTR. And there were so many other trails we could have taken. You could spend 2 full days (9 AM-6 PM) and you still won't have time to run all the 1-3 level trails available. It left plenty for us...
Yeah, I figured I wouldn't, and it was a pain to get turned quite few times while locked; but the guy from the Jamboree did recommend it with how wet and loose a lot of the rock he came across were on some of the steeper hills. Definitely didn't have any problems, and it was a much smoother ride...
I was waiting for someone to ask, as I'm not concerned about it. I just wanted to make it clear to everyone to expect a few underbody/frame scrapes.
That's pretty much the extent of it. Other than the dent on the exhaust and the scrape on the control arm bracket, the factory...
A few pictures my wife took. I really wish I had her get out on some other spots that would have been even greater for pictures, but we were as you could say, caught up in the moment.
