20k. It’s my first new truck. I got her at 7 odo lol. I’m so used to 200k plus ran through rust buckets that always have the worst everything everywhere and it takes 10x as long to deal with it. I got both diffs done in under 45 mins. No broke bolts or nothing. I’m in love again lol.
My Commander diff fluid is DIR-TEE at 10-15K. I even swapped to Amsoil. The full-time 4WD really takes a toll on it. I'm still debating on when I'll actually replace fluids on the JT, as I intend to replace diff covers at the same time.

maybe there's a difference in this thread between people with open diffs, locking diffs, and limited slip diffs. I imagine the LSD clutches shear fluid down and shed crud into it. Along with the towing the temperature differences already mentioned

"Most of their work comes from people tinkering with things that don’t need it."

Doubt.
At the power plant. We had people like that. We called them "knob dicker's". Have equipment adjusted just right and locked. Someone on the next shift would change the settings and screw things up.

I know of a sister disease to this one. It effects Corvette owners. They must compulsively was and wax their car, forsake driving in the rain or dust. the cleaning encompasses all
