That's ingenuitive as well. I may try that also. My concern with a conical step bit is the pressure I may need on the center cap at low speeds on the drill press; and if the cutting edge on one of those steps catches just right, I fear it'll crack it. I do have the extra cap since I bought all 5...
Same... and power seats never age well. My 91 Supra and my 06 Commander both got really slow and strained to move into some positions, especially after being driven in near the same position for all those years.
I'm not a fan of RT's wheel center cap logos. Looked for other options to no avail. I then watched a video shared on the JL Forum for making custom center caps for Rock Trix wheels. They apparently have a unique size and finding a Jeep cap to fit is out of the question. In the video, which was...

Well, after waiting 4 months for my sting gray MT Rubi, I got impatient. The sting gray was on the stop sale order for the trans--as everyone knows--along with yet another stop sale recall for the backup camera that came down in September, so I saw no end in sight. Found a local deal that had...
Okay, well something they may not have mentioned about that sale: they had a VERY severe hailstorm back in Feb/March time frame. Idk if that particular JT was affected but it was carnage out there. When I walked that lot looking at the damage, I almost cried.... they had $75K+ hemi-optioned...
