I'll try to remember:
1/8" NPT 12v Pressure Switch (I did 100PSI)
200A 4pin Relay
120A Resettable Fuse
6AWG wire from Battery
Anderson Connector so I can remove it if ever needed
Sheathing for the battery wires.
For the air, I think I went to ACE and just put together a 90Âş but I don't remember...
Hey ya'll, trying to install mine now and running into a bracket issue. Wondering if anyone else had the same or if I'm doing it wrong lol
I thought this was to tie into the bolt hole as seen in the photo.
Did great. Would have been a little miserable without it. Or at least I would have had to take bypasses or easier lines. But I took on the tough ones. Another JT had no lift but 35s and scraped a tad more than me so that was a good sign in my book.
Installed the AEV 2” lift today at the campsite. VERY dusty lol. Makes you appreciate a flat surface a whole lot more.
Testing it out on Fins & Things tomorrow!
Added an overhead molle panel and routed the GMRS antenna to the hood. We’ll see how long until I need a steel bracket on the cowl lol. Dang aluminum.
I’ll add more to the molle, but this will do for now.
AEV 2" Spacer Lift
Was delivered to the Grand Junction Amazon counter today. I'm in Moab for EJS so I'll head there tomorrow to pick it up and install it Saturday (hopefully) before Fins & Things :fingerscrossed:
Yep that’s it. You don’t even have to remove it if you don’t want to.
I went to the dealer for inspection in December and had the bypass cable plugged in. They just hooked their tool right up to that and did their reading.
Jscan is the best!
Love my manual! My MJ and JT are both manual and I couldn't see it any other way.
Clutch works fine. Don't drive it like a teenager. I look at the recall this way: I get a free replacement eventually!
I also tow 4k lbs almost weekly as I travel and live full time in a camper (profile pic) and...
I'm a sucker for making things difficult lol. Your image in some other thread was the inspiration since you showed it could be put there. I just had to have my generator fit in that same place so mounting on the bed wall was the only answer.
Also a quick note that you don't have to weld those mounting nuts like I did. I realized after I mounted it that I can just remove the bolts that attaches the mount to the compressor on the sides. It's a Metric 4.0 Hex.
And the final product is, well... it looks the same as the original photo lol.
Wired 6awg from the battery, down to the frame, and ran along the wires on top of the passenger frame rail all the way to the back. Left a little extra for when I figure out how I want to do a buss bar system back...
Made some progress with the compressor mod this evening before the sun went down and forced me to stop. Still need to wire in both switches, but after that it's ready to go. Then I can move on to the easy task of running the wires from the battery to the bed and be done.
