  1. JT Diesel Snorkel

Perfect, its even firecracker red like mine. Defiantly a gap, but not too bad. Hmmm.
  2. JT Diesel Snorkel

I’m still waiting for someone to install one with non-high fenders. ?
  3. Gearing for Gladiator EcoDiesel

Mine (4.10 + 37's + Alu-Cab Canopy Camper) will hold 8th gear in most situations on the highway, only dropping to 7th on more vertical hills. Wind can be a bitch though.
  4. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

Yeah, you just need to tap into the correct wire in the harness. That's all.
  5. Gearing for Gladiator EcoDiesel

My Gladiator is heavy and I am happy with 4.10's and 37" Nitto Recons. Nitro actually did a batch of the 4.30s, but I barely missed the boat when shopping for the gears. I would have gone that way, but again, I am happy with the 4.10s. The Jeep holds 8th gear on everything except the steeper...
  6. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

1K is still really highly on a small, minimal load rated rack.
  7. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

Thats been the problem, lots of nice racks on the market, but way to $$ to chop up and only use 1/4 of the rack.
  8. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

Nice! I am still trying to figure out a table solution.
  9. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

Have you ordered just the front section? Curious what the price is since they don't list just the front section on the site. Since their full-length system is $1k, guessing it would still be around $800
  10. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

I think a few of us have been waiting for some of the simpler rack companies to come out with a shorty rack. Really, most of the racks on the market would be great to shorten, but the cost of them doesn't make it cost effective. I for sure don't want to chop up a $1000 rack. Sounds like Sherpa...
  11. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

Good. Father is picking up his camper for his JT in a month or so and thinking about a diesel heater. I went with the fireplace, mainly for the ambience (to get my wife to go camping). If I had to do it over again, think I probably would have gone the diesel route, esepecially since mine JT is...
  12. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

With the popularity of the diesel heaters lately, thinking its time for a @813 Fabrication & Design install kit?
  13. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

One of my favorite mods on mine to date.
  14. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call

It was. After using it for a summer, I wasn't a fan of the bench seat up agaisnt the water tank. So I am actually in the middle of building out a new interior that will house all the camping gear. I will update in a week or so with some fresh photos of the interior.
  15. Bigger Spare Tire? Clayton Off Road Rear Track Bar install.

A rear trackbar is on my to-do list. I still can't believe how light-duty the factory rears are.
  16. Under-Hood ARB Mounting on New (2022+) JTs

Keep an eye on that compressor, they really don't like excessive engine heat which can cause the life of the compressor to be reduced. The first sign that the compressor is being subjected to too much heat would be the discoloration of the blue anodized compressor bracket.
  17. New 4XE Charge Port Air Chuck Conversion kit - From Grimm Offroad

Awesome product! If I was just now installing my onboard air system, I would have gone this route.
  18. Diesel mpg

I am happy with the performance. 4.56 would be too much and 4.30s weren't available. I think Nitro only ran one batch of 4.30 gears which I would have gone with because of the weight of my Jeep. If your Jeep isn't heavy, then not sure the gear change is really necessary with the diesel. Or just...
  19. JT Diesel Snorkel

So has anyone ordered/installed one that has the low fender flares? AEV said it will fit, you will just have a gap between the fender and snorkel body.
