That link would lead to me. I did this myself. I bought a vinyl printer some time ago for a specific project and now I'm sing the heck out of it to print all manner of things for my Jeep.
I was being more general (since some folks were upset that recalls even happened) and not necessarily about this current issue. As far as inspecting a part that is sealed unit, I'm sure there are non-invasive ways to do it. I work in the oil industry and x-rays of welds in various parts are a...
As someone who works for a company that doesn't manufacture but assembles its product we have onsite QA that inspects all incoming parts. BUT, we do not inspect EVERY SINGLE PART. It's just not feasible to do so, so we occasionally have an issue that can cause our product to not perform...
I may not have be clear enough. What I meant was can this problem be checked and confirmed by the owner (by inspecting the affected part). I asked because Oct. 19th is over a month away and I'd hate to have something happen.
I called my dealer, and they are aware, but said they'll receive the...
Inspired by the "lack of storage" thread I added a couple of things. Amazon links here and here. I also picked up a windshield sunshade that works great. Don't have a pic of that one, but if your'e looking for one I highly recommend this one.
I think use has more to do with it than age. I'm 49, and plan to use my Gladiator for commuting and towing my RV. So, I won't be altering anything with the suspension. I may go with more aggressive treaded tire at some point, but they won't be larger than stock.

So not only did I go topless (doors still on) the entire Labor Day weekend, I also did my first meaningful towing with my Gladiator Sport S with Max Tow. I installed a Curt Spectrum brake controller (you can read about that here). I'm towing a 19' Vista Cruiser travel trailer rated at 3500lbs...
The pics above were with the top ON. I went out and took of the freedom panels and rear top and the fit is pretty much the same. Well, a little more saggy across the back, but very similar.
Thanks for the update! I'll ask about it when I take it in for the first oil change (You should get your first 4 oil changes free through Jeep Wave program).
Saw the post on the Mopar "topless" cab cover, and while I would love to have it is pricey and not in stock most places and I wanted to go topless this weekend so I found this: Click Here. At only $35 it's a quick/cheap option. It's made for 2007-2018 2 Door Wranglers.
It's not perfect (it's...
