The Gladiator is my first Jeep. It's my daily driver, and it will be used to tow my RV. Will it ever go off-road? Maybe. Will the top and doors come off? For sure. Do I care if someone thinks I'm a poser? Nope.
So far so good. Honestly speaking, the 2017 GMC Canyon I traded in for it was a better highway truck but I knew that going in. It's louder (road noise inside) and does wander a bit, but when I've got the freedom panels off and all the windows open (haven't had good enough weather to go...
I think you are right, and I just realized that there was an extra flyer in the packaging about registering for a warranty. I just ook a look at it and it has N-Fab all over it. Coincidence?? Apparently not!
I know there is quite a bit, but as a Jeep novice I don't know. I was looking at tube doors and saw plenty for the JL's, and then wondered if there was a difference between 2-door and 4door JL's (I was looking at front doors only) as far as being compatible with our JT's.
Just wondering if...
These use all stock mounting points. No need to remove any existing bolts unless you have factory rock sliders installed.
Here's the pics from the instructions that show this:
Installed a set of Rough Country Nerf Bars/Steps last night (literally in the night, haha). Bought them direct from Rough Country. They are the most reasonably priced ($349) bars I could find and Delivery was FAST!! They come well packaged. Fit and finish are very good on the set I received...
Sounds like you are using Android Auto or Apple Carplay, is that right? I've only used Android Auto and can tell you from experience that it can be very finicky on certain phones. I use it daily (I have the upgraded 7inch infotainment package in my Sport S) and have never had issues with it. I...
This past weekend I installed a Curt Spectrum trailer brake controller in my Max Tow equipped Sport S. I went back and forth between the Redarc and Curt controllers since they both offer a more "factory" look compared to your garden variety knee bashing standard brake controllers. I ultimately...
Nope. It has two clamps at the front (behind cab) and two quick release clamps at the rear. Takes just a few minutes to install with no cutting/modding.
Here's a video that shows installation. I don't have the safety clamps, so that might be something new.
The adaptor you need will depend on the BRAND of controller you end up with. I just installed a Curt Spectrum controller so the harness was Curt #51459 (which will work with pretty much and Curt controller). Looks great, IMO and matches the other panel components. Like the Redarc, it has a...
I installed a Curt Spectrum brake controller (and took the RV out for a test ride), and a new decal.
The controller and adapter harness were ordered from Amazon: Curt Spectrum Controller, Curt Harness Wanted to wait for the factory controller, but at the rate FCA is going it won't be out in...
To the OP, my JT also has similar play. It also does like to wander a bit. Now, I did check and adjust my tire pressure (left the dealer with all 4 tires around 42psi) and that did help a little. It's been hard to get a real feel for it since that last week it has been pretty windy each day...
Looks nice, but that price is why I switched to soft ti-fold covers (after installing Bakflips on all my full size pick ups.) I'll stick with the one from my Colorado that (thanks to info from this forum) fits the Gladiator perfectly (new it's right around $200).
