285/75 is going to be a 33×10.5 and that weight is about the limit that a 373 gear can handle, I have had as much as a 35x12.5x17 on that same gear and regretted it from the start

Like others have said it's all about the gearing you have and I'm pretty sure yours is 373 gears unless someone has upgraded it and I personally wouldn't go about a 285 with that gear or you will be searching for gears while towing or on hills.
