Just for comparison, mine is lifted 2" with 35s. I can get up to 19mpg in the summer during 2+ hour highway driving around 65mph.
What speed were you driving? When (if) I let my brother-in-law drive, he consistently does 80+ mph and the mpg drops sometimes as low at 14mpg. I don't like to go...
Doesn't sound too far fetched to me. Heck, my police scanner that I use for everything from emergency, air traffic and railroads doesn't work in my Gladiator when it's running. Too much interference. It makes static constantly. Everytime I push on the brake pedal it squelches a horrible high...
MOPAR 2" lift (2.5" in reality). Very happy. Rides better than stock. Tracks straight, feels substantial. I added a beefed up front track bar. Have Wildpeak 35" tires. Truck has the max tow package so the extra heavy tires don't feel as heavy. I see 8th gear pretty frequently. The lift retains...
No, unfortunately I had the dreaded defective aluminum steering box. Drove horrible before and after the upgrades. It was only after I had the TSB done that I noticed a major difference. But yea, I can drive down the highway straight as an arrow. I've even taken it to 100mph once to test it...
My front axle also shifted about an inch to the drivers side. A Rancho trackbar corrected this. I also added a trackbar bracket brace to beef it up. Rear wasn't affected. Had to replace the defective steering box and drives fine.
Same. It's my only vehicle at the moment, but it's my favorite so far of the two I previously owned. It's also my first Jeep product. I came from owing two Chevy pickups. A midsize first generation Colorado, and a full size 2015 Silverado.
+1 for Fluid Film. You can do it yourself, or I take mine to a detailer who applies it professionally. It will last all winter. Just don't wash the underside until springtime.
I was around 18mpg until I let my brother in law drive it. Gave it back with under 16mpg. I found out he drives 85-95mph on the interstate and tailgates people constantly.
Interesting. I've bought so much stuff from them. Wheels, antenna, decals, steering stabilizer and more. Never had an issue. I found out they have a warehouse in my town!
I can't believe this is still happening to people. The steel box was supposed to be the correction. It dramatically corrected mine. Yet from the factory they are still sloppy.
