My experience on 37 is that you'll get D8 on flat surfaces and down hill but any slight grade and it will downshift quickly.

Stock Jeeps are pretty capable in the the "basic trims" but it's all about how much scraping and constant hang ups, and ease of your wheeling day that makes you want to mod them.

Really was impressive for a stock Overland. If it had a mild lift and maybe one locked axle it could have done it without problem.
