I've been fortunate to build slammed air bag show cars, german track cars, and also trucks on 40s. I'm somewhat used to the 'hey man, what is that thing?' or 'wow, mind if I take a picture with that?"' at gas stations. My 911 brings little kids to 70 year old men out to the pumps when I go to...
@SCRubicon23 Where in the upstate are you located? Would you be interested in trading straight for all 4 new 2020 JLU rubi wheels with 285/70/17 BFG KOs (very new) on them? I got my set for a deal, but wanted the falkens. I'm located in Greer btw. If you want to sell, I totally understand...
Any updates? I looked at this winch on Amazon, but found a stupid good ebay new deal on a 9.5 gen 2 smitty for $230. I am thinking about using Havocs synthetic line down the road.
What size tires and have you calibrated the ECU post tire size? My rig stays in 8th the entire time in the foothills of the mountains unless it's going up a hill. Thats will 33s, and going 68-72 mph. SC upstate is rolling hills and foothills of the blue ridge mountains.
I'm smiling because I haven't seen a 2 door JT yet. :)
I've got a 2.5" Long Travel Skyjacker kit, 4 doors, Steel bumper and 9.5 winch and 285s for now, and I'm getting about 16.1mpg city and 23.5mpg averaging 68-72mph. This is after reprogramming the system for the correct size tires using...
I’m running Skyjackers 2.5 long travel kit and don’t have a pull to the right either with factory trackbar. I was waiting to install the adjustable should I need to, but no issues at all and the alignment was only a tad out of spec. It rides smoother than stock. Haha
My mother had a similar story with a renegade trailhawk that went to arbitration 2 years after purchase. I don't know the specifics, but what they paid her was almost 95% of the purchase price she paid in cash. Long story short: Jeep had transmission issues where the car would cut off on the...
I think a hemi swap for these things is becoming somewhat normal for alot of the big swap companies. Assuming you can use the same harness that the previous jeeps use, it shouldn't be too much work, if any, from the JL/JK platform. I know back when I looked at one for our JKU, they were...
