Did they say that just about 35's in general, or those specific tires (Toyo's and Kenda's)? Most 35's are at least 12-12.5" wide, but with those tires at 10.5" or 11.5", a 7.5" rim should be within spec.

Wow some of you go all out! This is a great addition though. One of the first thinks I did was cut a 2x8, but whenever I get time I want to paint it and maybe add some handles, and throw all the stickers I have laying around on it. Plus then you have a board to help support a jack if ever need be.
