I have a 2021 JT Mojave and I recently installed a Bestop Sunrider for Hardtop. I love the top but noticed that, after the install, my passenger side floor mat was damp after a moderate rain.

Then, last week we had very heavy rainfall. I came out to find about an inch of standing water in the passenger footwell. The rest of the truck was dry as a bone, just the passenger footwell. There were no signs that the top was leaking at all, nothing on the seat, window, door card, etc.

However, I noticed what appeared to be a trickle of water pouring in over the door sill in one spot. After inspecting the rubber seal around the door, I cannot find any noticeable kinks, tears, or chunks missing. The truck was parked with the nose pointing on a slight downhill slope, which could have more of the water running towards the front of the windshield.

Any thoughts or experience with this would be greatly appreciated!

Mine have never leaked a drop, have sunriders on my JT and the wife's JL. That said, I would recommend removing the sunrider and cleaning the rubber seals on your jeep. When you re-install, pay close attention to how the top sits on all those seals, as something did not line up properly.

I remember reading about fit issues and leaking when the Sunrider first came out. This has always stuck in my head and has always made me steer away from it.

Had mine on for over a year, through winter and all, no leaks. Hate to say but probably install error. Watch the quadratec install video, best instructions I found. They mention if you don't tuck the back portion correctly, it will leak.

Either that or you have a warranty issue, and I understand bestop honors things well. These should not leak

i have one that was leak-free the first time that i put it on, then leaked when i put it back on after a brief removal. make sure that you clean all of the edges/seals and then apply a good amount of pressure from the top of the rails while you secure the bolts. that solved it for me.

Yes, followed the Quadratec instructions to a tee. The top isn't leaking but the water seems to be channeled into the door jam and then leaking in through the door sill. Any thoughts on what can be adjusted would be helpful.

The Quadratec procedure connects the Z Clips after placing. I follow the Bestop procedure - easier, quicker and less chance of errors.
You might try uninstalling the whole thing and try this method.
