The below are my personal opinions only... I despise debates on forums on the interweb, but I figured I'd address your comments just to shed light on the fact that I'm doing this for my specific use case. What I do isn't what anyone, and I do mean anyone, else should do.
The problem with...
Yep, sure do. For the tongue weight that applies to my specific use case however, it's a non-issue.
It's actually very easy, even being completely blind behind the bumper. There is plenty of room to get your hand(s) up in there and manipulate the pin and retaining clip.
I tow almost every...
Yes, squeezed it incrementally up to 200psi. The ARB that feeds it cuts off at 150psi and I also have a blow-off valve set at 165psi. I don't leave it under pressure (unless I forget  ) and I have used it at least a couple dozen times; knock on wood no explosions yet :whew:
I'm fabricating a simple extension that will incorporate the safety chain loops and allow me to use a drop shank when necessary. Also working on a flip-up license plate bracket.
I'd finally had it with the low-slung factory receiver hitch:
I spent a couple hours pulling the factory rear crossmember/hitch, carving off the receiver from below the crossmember, and gluing together a new one above the crossmember:
After yet another instance of the OEM receiver hitch pogoing me on an obstacle, I finally took some action to help tidy up the departure angle by relocating the spare tire and receiver hitch, finally putting my bed rack to use:
Odd problem, and I'm not an electrical guy in any way/shape/form so this has me frustrated... I built a new front bumper a while back and incorporated some cheap little amber LED lights that aim out and down in the corners. To power them I am using the factory fog light circuit, but my factory...
I picked up a Superior Tech 5.0 unit on sale a while back for something like $70, and it seems to connect and work about 90% of the time. It will freeze once in a while as well... The one thing I notice is the incoming call volume is MUCH louder, which is a very nice perk. The factory...
My apologies for the vernacular mishap, I was just using what I'd seen all over the innerwebz:

Appreciate the picture, that is helpful.
Does anyone know if the two sections that house the 12v port and the media hub are a direct swap from side-to-side? Or even better, if there is anyone making any sort of blank off plates to allow you to remove one or the other and just have a clean slate in that little area? I'd like to keep...
My personal opinion, worth exactly what you paid for it, is that a trailer should be as small and light as possible to get the intended job done. The problem with that theory is that the intended job often changes over time, and trying to pick "the" trailer is like reading a crystal ball... I...
Are you married to the idea of an electric compressor? You might take a look at a C02 setup for the cost, portability, and ease of installation you are looking for...
My personal experience with an '18 JLU-R, a '21 JT-R, and now a '23 JT-R is that the defroster, and in fact all HVAC modes, work more than sufficiently for my needs. I have several complaints about the JL/JT platform, but HVAC isn't among them ?♂️
