I just went through this when lifting my 2018 Ram. A ton of popular lifts reduce capacities by 15% which I was not ok with as I needed to keep those capabilities. While taking 15% off a 17,000lb tow & 2500 payload rating is doable for a lot of people, it becomes a very real issue when you're...
What made you determine the Pro-X was designed mainly around speed? With RK being located in NY I would assume it would excel in areas the Northeast is known for.
I too have seen people complaining about RK lifts coming in numerous packages but I thought that was due to where they ordered it...
Thanks for your real world feedback. I feel MC has not done a great job getting information out about this lift. They do include info on each particular part but not on the complete package as a whole. Being a truck, I want to keep a slight rake, know how it impacts towing/hauling, and what they...
I run a 3.5" GC lift on my 17 JKU and have been extremely happy. I was planning to do the same with my JT but now I'm wondering if MC is the right direction to go. It seems MC simply took their existing product line and made it work while RK designed their lift around the best solution for this...
Is anyone running Falcon 3.3 shocks with the Pro-X? I looked all over trying to find their collapsed/extended specs and was out of luck. I called Teraflex and they recommended the shocks designed for 3.5 - 4.5" lift which have a maximum extended length of 28.5". Does anyone know if these will be...
I assumed my JT had a 22 gallon fuel tank. I was looking over the build sheet and towards the bottom it says it has 4 additional gallons. This is the first time I've seen this. Anyone else have this or know which option causes the larger fuel tank to be added?
Haven't experienced this in my JT but I had this exact thing happen when I first bought my JK. I simply took off the panels then reset them and never had another issue.
Picked up my Gobi Rubicon on Monday. Night and day difference coming from a 2017 HR JKU. I have a MC GC 3.5" lift with Falcon 3.3 shocks on the JK and now Im deciding if I should do the same with this build or look into another brand like Rock Krawler. I plan to run 37" tires so at least that...
I would absolutely love a diesel in a JT. I'm just not sure how a modern diesel will handle what the JT is designed for. Imagine being out on a trail when it goes into regen. Now what? You very well could be miles/hrs away from being able to hit 55mph. I'm very interested to know the solution...
